Adjudication Process

At the award ceremony, everyone who was nominated will be recognized in one of the four above areas and receive a rubric with adjudicator comments. Our goal is that from year to year schools and students are able to use these rubric comments to continue to improve their theatrical work.

In 2026-2027, all performances will be adjudicated LIVE. Directors are responsible for finding their own adjudicators.

Attached you will find a folder of our rubrics for each category that adjudicators will be using for assessment, as well as the nomination form.

Students, groups, and/or productions will receive Gold with Honors, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. 

Students who receive Gold with Honors in acting will receive a chance to perform a monologue at the ceremony.
