We are thrilled to announce that our next Eastern Student Artist Guild Ceremony will take place on April 20, 2026 at the historic Tarrytown Music Hall. With this beautiful and spacious venue, we’re ready to host our biggest celebration yet—honoring the creativity, courage, and artistry of student theatre across our region.
Some updates in 2026:
We are looking to expand our horizons! We are opening our award ceremony to ANY high school, regardless of location.
We are shifting our model to include four recognition categories: Gold with Honors, Gold, Silver, and Bronze
We are providing more networking for the theatre directors who direct plays without music
The 2nd annual Eastern Student Artist Guild awards were held at Iona University in New Rochelle May 4, 2025. Fourteen theater programs and 16 productions from Westchester, Putnam, and the Bronx were recognized. Along with receiving awards, actors delivered monologues from their selected plays

Our mission is to nurture talent, inspire innovation, and build community across all artistic disciplines—including theatre, music, visual arts, dance, creative writing, and more. Through workshops, performances, exhibitions, and leadership opportunities, members gain the skills and confidence to develop their craft while shaping the cultural life of our community.
We celebrate student theatre that tells powerful stories without the help of music, but with every ounce of heart, creativity, and courage. In 2025, we were thrilled to have 14 schools and programs from across Westchester and Rockland Counties participate, presenting a remarkable 15 productions. Each play brought something distinct to the stage, and together, they showcased the incredible talent and vision of our student artists.
